What is a Pediatrician:
A pediatrician is a physician whose specific specialty is caring for children and young adults from birth to 22 years of age.  Pediatricians address acute and chronic illnesses, learning disabilities, behavioral issues and the growth and development of children.  Our goal is to help ensure that children grow into mentally and physically healthy, productive and happy adults.

Call Hour
Call Hour is available 365 days a year in the Sellersville office including all holidays and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at 215-257-2727.  Call Hour in the Harleysville office is available Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at (215) 256-1999 .

Vaccines
At Pennridge Pediatrics, we believe in the safety and efficacy of the current vaccine schedule that is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Please note that our office will not deviate or provide alternative schedules to the published AAP schedule. Parents who wish to modify the vaccine schedule or not vaccinate at all, will be asked to find a pediatrician that agrees with their individual philosophy on vaccines. Please visit the CDC website or the CHOP Vaccine Education Center website listed below for more information on vaccines.

*Mental Health Assessment
Dr. Danielle Lee and Nurse Practitioner, Lindsey Baranik, have completed a seminar in Pediatric mental health with Reach Institute to assess conditions such as depression and anxiety in children 9+ years of age.  If interested, please call the office to inquire about the full details of this program.

Minor Surgical Procedures
At PPA we have a treatment room at both offices where we perform minor surgical procedures.  During the stressful moments after an injury, we offer the convenience of suturing or stapling lacerations at the office rather than turning to the emergency department.  In addition to this, we perform other minor procedures, such as in-grown toenail and wart removal, molluscum treatment, treatment of minor fractures, and ear piercing.
