THOMAS HIPP, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Hipp completed his undergraduate studies at Mount Saint Mary’s University. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he served as chief resident. He practiced in the US Army in the Medical Corps as a Major for three years. Dr. Hipp joined PPA in 1976. His certifications include Diplomat of the National Boards of Medical Examiners, 1971; American Boards of Pediatrics, 1975; and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, 1976. Dr. Hipp is involved in many societies such as the Bucks County Medical Society, the PA Medical Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Also, he was president of the medical staff at Grand View Hospital (GVH) in 1990 and Chairman of the Pediatric Department at GVH from 1993-2001. He has been on the GVH Foundation Board since 1997. Dr. Hipp has also served as an active member of the Board of Trustees at GVH since 1996 and served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees from 2000-2009. His wife, Lynne, is the business manager at PPA. Dr. Hipp enjoys gardening, skiing, working out, and spending time with his six grandchildren at the shore, sharing in on their activities as they grow and develop.
RONALD SOUDER, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Souder grew up in Telford and attended Souderton High School. He graduated from Carleton College with a BA in Biology and went on to receive his Medical Degree at Jefferson Medical College. He did his residency in Pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he also served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. He joined Pennridge Pediatrics in 1977. Dr. Souder is on the staff of Grand View Hospital where he is Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, Chairman of the Credentials Committee, and a member of the Quality Assurance and Executive Committees. Dr. Souder also serves on the Board of Penn Foundation. He is a member of Salford Mennonite Church where he has served as a Youth Sponsor for many years. Dr. Souder’s wife Susan is a retired Microbiologist who served as a Biological Safety Officer at the University of Pennsylvania for many years. She continues to teach at Thomas Jefferson University. He has 3 daughters: Jennifer, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Emily, a Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician, and Katie, a Social Worker. In his spare time, Dr. Souder enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, gardening and spending time with his family and two grandchildren, Liliana and Sam.
DEBORAH FACCENDA, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Deborah Faccenda grew up in Central Pennsylvania and attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. She went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and then completed her residency in Pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She joined Pennridge Pediatrics in 1991 and has enjoyed practicing Pediatrics in this community for more than twenty years. She served as the director of the nursery at Grandview Hospital for twelve years, and she is currently serving as President of Pennridge Pediatrics. She is a member of the Bucks County Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Faccenda has an interest in childhood obesity and in 2010, she established the Grand New Youth Program, a medically-based pediatric weight management program. Along with a nutritionist and exercise therapist, she helps children and their families address the factors that contribute to obesity. Dr. Faccenda lives in Harleysville with her husband, a math teacher at Souderton Area High School. They have two daughters who are currently pursuing their own education in college and graduate school.
RICHARD T. KRATZ, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Kratz was born and raised in Souderton, PA and graduated from Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. He attended Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia, where he graduated with a B.S. in Biology. He attended Temple University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He joined Pennridge Pediatrics in 1998. Dr. Kratz has a special interest in vaccine research trials and heads the research trials at PPA. He also serves as the American Academy of Pediatrics PA state chapter coordinator for PROS, a national office based research group. He is married and has two teenage daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and reading. He is also actively involved in his church, Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, where he is currently serving as an Elder. For the last two years, he has also spent a week volunteering as a physician in Honduras with a local organization called MAMA Project, Inc.
DEBORAH BOLANOWSKI, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Bolanowski grew up in New Jersey, went to Johns Hopkins University for an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and earned an MD degree at New York University School of Medicine. She did her Pediatric internship and residency at The Albert Einstein and Montefiore Medical Centers in New York City. She and her (now deceased) husband Dr. David Flowers moved to this area in 1986, where she worked with Dr. Howard Thomas for many years. They sold the practice to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and after working for Kids First Indian Valley, she took a short hiatus to care for her family. She joined Pennridge Pediatrics in 2002. She is a past President of the Medical Staff, past member of the Board of Trustees of Grand View Hospital, and current Trustee on The Grand View Foundation Board. She also serves on Grand View's Credentials Committee. She has three adult children. Her son, Michael Flowers, MD, is a Radiology resident at The University of Washington, in Seattle. Laura Flowers, MSW, is employed by Jewish Family Services in Philadelphia and is married to Tyler Sossong. Alexis Flowers, MD, is a resident of Opthalmology at Vanderbilt in Nashville. In addition to Pediatric practice, she enjoys gourmet cooking and dining, is an amateur oenophile, loves reading, spending time with family, and traveling.
ANUTA DOLHA, M.D., FAAP
Dr. Dolha is a board-certified pediatrician who attended Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. She joined PPA in 2007. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She lives with her family in Harleysville and her four children. Her special interest at PPA is molluscum treatment. She enjoys reading, a good cup of coffee, traveling, and the beach.
TRACY MOLLOY, CRNP
Tracy began her nursing career in 1992 working as a staff nurse at the Hospital of the University of PA in the Orthopedic/Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit. After several years at HUP, she felt the desire to transition to Pediatrics and made the move to the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery at Abington Memorial Hospital, and on alternate days worked as a School Nurse at St. Jude Catholic Education Center. Her love for Pediatrics grew and she eventually pursued a degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Immaculata University and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University where she received the Iota Kappa Chapter Graduate Award. Graduate and Post-Graduate clinical experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner was obtained at several privately owned Pediatric practices in Montgomery and Bucks Counties. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, PA DE Valley Chapter, and maintains her CRNP certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). In her free time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, cooking, and walking her two Golden Retrievers.
KAITLIN STELTZER, CRNP
Kaiti began her nursing career and love for pediatrics in 2010, while she worked as a home health aide caring for children with special needs. She graduated with her nursing degree in 2012, and continued her work with special needs children as a nurse at a medical daycare. After a few years in the outpatient setting she transitioned to the critical care department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2015, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University and was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Graduate and Post-Graduate clinical experience was obtained through the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and several local private practices. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, PA DE Valley Chapter, and maintains her CRNP certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). On her days off, Kaiti enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
KATELYN BROWN, CRNP
Katie completed her undergraduate studies at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where she double majored in Spanish and Interdisciplinary Health Services. She received her BSN from Thomas Jefferson University, and practiced as a nurse in a pediatric intensive care unit. She later returned to Thomas Jefferson University to obtain her MSN. She maintains her certification as a CRNP in Pediatric Primary Care through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. As a CRNP, she has practiced in Child Protection Medicine and is a member of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau (the honor society of nursing), as well as the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. Besides caring for her patients, Katie enjoys traveling, running, and adopting shelter pets.
RAMA SUBRAMANIAN, MD
Dr. Subramanian was born in India and moved to the US with her parents and sister when she was eight years old. She grew up in New York and attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She went on to attend Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx. She moved to Pennsylvania in 2017 with her husband and daughter. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. In her free time, Dr. Rama enjoys spending time with her family, watching Indian movies, reading and traveling.
